About the role
- Projects Engineer designing and implementing hardware database solutions for various energy applications. Collaborating with teams to deliver comprehensive solutions in power plant processes.
Responsibilities
- With minimal direction can design some non-complex solutions
- Designs and implements hardware database, logics, graphics and datalinks
- With guidance selects hardware and software for project implementation
- Review application documentation for quality, accuracy and completeness
- Work closely with project technical leader/s to verify the project requirements are met accordingly
- Solve technical problems through the combination of standard procedures, modifications of standard procedures, experience, or methods developed in previous assignments
- Work closely with partners to meet the project requirements and deadlines
- Consistently shows ability to accurately communicate with customers
- Track project’s progress, budget performance and risk assessment and issue weekly reports
Requirements
- Engineering degree in related field
- Travel time up-to 60%
- Intermediate level of English
- Portuguese is a plus
- At least 6 years of experience in DCS or PLC/SCADA in Industrial Automation
- At least 5 FAT and 5 Commissioning
- At least 2 Technical Lead roles
- Good interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills
- A good business understanding and the ability to work effectively with internal and external customers
