About the role
- Website Designer leading design projects from discovery to delivery at POD Marketing. Managing client portfolios and collaborating across teams to ensure exceptional user experiences.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse portfolio of clients
- Lead client meetings to understand design objectives and requirements
- Create wireframes and prototypes
- Collaborate with internal teams to execute client projects
- Spearhead visual brand creation efforts
- Perform thorough quality assurance checks
- Contribute to product innovation and troubleshoot complex issues
- Provide mentorship and guidance to entry-level designers
- Train new team members on best practices
- Support process innovation and documentation
- Participate in product development initiatives
- Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices
Requirements
- Legally able to work in Canada
- Certificate in Digital Design or equivalent
- 2+ years in digital design
- At least 1 year experience in website design
- 2+ years of experience in agency setting is an asset
- 2+ years of experience in customer service/hospitality
- Advanced proficiency in Sketch, Figma, or XD
- Solid experience with Photoshop and Illustrator
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Advanced understanding of HTML & CSS
- Extensive experience with WordPress
- Proven track record in marketing or other agency experience
