About the role

Responsibilities

  • Our company is seeking a highly motivated Sales Development Representative to help us grow our business in the audio-visual (AV) industry.
  • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and maintaining relationships with existing clients.
  • Maintain our showroom presence in downtown Seattle, WA on a hybrid basis.
  • Desire to educate customers on display technology in a showroom, office, or job site location.
  • Identify & develop new business opportunities by reaching out to potential clients, attending industry events, and participating in networking opportunities.
  • Drive business impact by conducting lead generation and innovative campaigns to attract customers.
  • Ensure all business development activities are coordinated and executed in a timely manner.
  • Grow existing accounts by providing excellent customer service and offering new products and services.
  • Maintain CRM for contact details and to support pipeline management.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to create and implement sales strategies that align with company goals.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to create marketing materials and promotional campaigns that promote our products and services.
  • Manage the showroom and ensure that it is presentable, stocked, and up to date with the latest AV technology.
  • Meet corporate and sales objectives.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field
  • 2+ years of sales or business development experience required, preferably in the AV or other Technical Industry
  • Professional and consultative approach with strong interpersonal skills
  • High energy, sense of urgency
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with AV technology and industry trends
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software
  • Must have a valid drivers license
