About the role

  • Brand Design Manager leading a team to drive marketing creativity at Plaid. Overseeing projects that enhance the Plaid brand across multiple channels with efficient production workflows.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor a team of brand and production designers
  • Manage external agencies and set creative direction across all growth marketing surfaces
  • Design and deliver end-to-end campaigns that drive outsized impact and pipeline
  • Build scalable Figma templates, processes, and creative standards
  • Oversee production workflows to ensure efficient, high-quality output
  • Partner closely with Growth Marketing leads to develop campaigns from concept through launch
  • Work cross-functionally to track insights that inform future creative
  • Uphold and evolve the Plaid brand across all channels

Requirements

  • 7–10+ years of professional design experience
  • 2–3+ years leading or managing brand designers and production designers
  • A portfolio demonstrating strong craft across multi-channel marketing work
  • Experience with performance marketing creative (paid social, display ads, email)
  • Ability to coach designers while directly contributing to the work
  • Experience building systems, templates, and scalable processes
  • Strong communication and cross-functional partnership skills
  • Bonus: experience with animation tools (Jitter), as well as production design tools designed for efficiency (Figma Buzz, Celtra, or Bannerflow); fintech/SaaS background; agency management
