About the role

  • Marketing Associate supporting global marketing initiatives at PIMCO while coordinating multi-channel marketing activities and ensuring operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting marketing campaigns, content programs, and operational workflows
  • Coordinating timelines, deliverables, routing, and approvals across cross‑functional partners
  • Managing campaign logistics, including planning calendars, segmentation, measurement, and optimization
  • Gathering, analyzing, and summarizing performance data to generate insights and recommendations
  • Preparing, updating, and maintaining sales‑ and client‑facing materials
  • Ensuring accuracy, brand consistency, and compliance across all marketing assets
  • Collaborating with product strategy, sales, client management, compliance, creative, technology, and global marketing teams
  • Learning and leveraging marketing systems, including CRM platforms, publishing and content tools, workflow systems, and analytics dashboards
  • Documenting, maintaining, and improving workflows, processes, and operational standards
  • Staying current on industry trends, competitive dynamics, and digital marketing best practices
  • Demonstrating curiosity, rigor, and a hands‑on, detail‑driven approach in all aspects of work

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree required (Marketing or a related field preferred)
  • 2–4 years of marketing experience within financial services (asset management, wealth management, banking, fintech, insurance, or similar)
  • Baseline understanding of asset management, global markets, and fixed income
  • Experience supporting marketing campaigns across planning, build, QA, measurement, and refinement
  • Exposure to digital marketing execution, including SEO, paid and organic LinkedIn, paid search, and email
  • Comfort with messaging and content development, including drafting, editing, and adapting content for different audiences
  • Experience operating within structured workflows, including approval routing, compliance processes, and version control
  • Ability to interpret performance and operational data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
  • Comfort learning and using new marketing platforms and systems
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word; familiarity with Adobe tools is a plus.
