About the role

  • Investment Operations Analyst performing accounting and reporting functions at PGIM. Engaging with internal partners to support investment operations and processes within Money Markets Accounting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform a variety of investment support functions, including accounting, reporting, and analysis
  • Gain experience in short term investments held in various MMIP (Money Market Investment Pool) and other Short Term Stand-alone portfolios
  • Support all internal business partners (Fixed Income, CIO, Treasurers, PMA, etc.)
  • Support the monthly and quarterly close process as well as Enterprise initiatives
  • Receive on-the-job training as well as professional training courses
  • Work in a challenging environment on complex financial transactions

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking skills and solutions oriented
  • Ability to understand and analyze basic accounting principles and financial statements
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks in a deadline and fast paced environment
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership qualities
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Word
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to summarize and communicate complex issues effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Prior background / internship experience in investment management or financial services industry is strongly preferred
