Responsibilities
Coordinate the risk analysis process and the release of orders held for credit, evaluating customers' financial history in SAP and handling escalation of exceptions, with a focus on mitigating default and ensuring smooth billing.
Manage the execution of the collections strategy and the monitoring of overdue receivables, conducting preventive and corrective actions to reduce delinquency and improve the Average Collection Period.
Control the referral of past-due portfolios to external collection agencies, ensuring application of corporate policies and strengthening credit recovery strategies.
Supervise receivables reconciliation and bank settlement processes, ensuring the correct integration of remittance and return files and preventing inconsistencies or incorrect charges.
Lead the resolution of commercial and financial incidents, coordinating ticket handling and ensuring SLA compliance and quality support to internal areas.
Coordinate renegotiation processes for overdue invoices, defining system parameters and payment conditions within established authorizations, focusing on recovering amounts and regularizing customers.
Assess the risk of receivable losses and coordinate the calculation and recording of the Provision for Doubtful Accounts (PDD), ensuring adherence to accounting policies and accurately reflecting portfolio risk.
Prepare and monitor performance indicators for credit and collections operations, consolidating SAP data to generate management reports and identify improvement opportunities.
Contribute to the review and update of credit policies and procedures, analyzing operational impacts and ensuring alignment with corporate guidelines.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree: Administration, Accounting, Economics, Production Engineering or related fields.
Experience managing Credit and Collections operations, including defining and executing collections strategies, conducting debt negotiations and analyzing performance indicators related to credit, recovery and delinquency.
Leadership of operational teams, with SLA monitoring, performance management and a focus on process efficiency and quality.
Knowledge of the Provision for Doubtful Accounts methodology (PDD).
Ability to analyze data and credit & collections indicators, focused on risk forecasting and trend identification.
Postgraduate degree, MBA or specialization in Finance, Controllership, Risk Management or Credit.
Experience with SAP, acting in Credit and Accounts Receivable processes.
Familiarity with customer service management platforms and approval workflows.
Experience configuring or operating automated credit decision engines.
Knowledge of legislation and best practices applicable to collections and credit recovery.
Knowledge of LATAM financial routines.
Intermediate Spanish.
