About the role
- Betreuungsassistenz providing care and support in a gerontopsychiatric daycare. Engaging with elderly guests in Wustermark in various activities to enhance their well-being.
Responsibilities
- Accompanying, caring for and activating our day-care guests to promote their mental and physical well-being
- Encouraging guests to participate in various activities such as cognitive exercises, social/board games, short exercise sessions, mobility exercises, gardening, cooking, baking and other activities
- Empathetic and sensitive communication with patients and their relatives
- Supporting quality management
- Participation in team meetings and further training
- Close collaboration and exchange within the interdisciplinary team
Requirements
- Current care certificate in accordance with §53c SGB XI (no older than 6 months)
- Teamwork skills, sense of responsibility, patience and punctuality
- Interest in day care and working with older people
- Very good German language skills
- Clean criminal record certificate
