About the role

  • Clinical Counsellor providing 24/7 confidential support via various counselling methods to NHS Employees in East Kent. Opportunity for personal and professional growth with support from the EAP team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a 24/7 confidential support service via telephone, virtual and face to face counselling
  • Provide short-term counselling to NHS Employees in person
  • Delivering Psychoeducation workshops and Trauma Support
  • Signposting clients to external resources for specialist support
  • Offering real-time support to employees and managers, including high-risk cases

Requirements

  • Level 4 Diploma in Counselling (essential)
  • Accredited membership with BACP / NCPS
  • Experience in telephone and face-to-face counselling
  • 400+ clinical hours post-qualification
  • Strong understanding of trauma-informed approaches
  • Experience within an EAP setting (advantageous)
  • Computer literacy and the ability to work autonomously and in a team
