About the role
- Financial Consolidation & IFRS Reporting Specialist creating and verifying financial reports for Coatings division. Overseeing compliance with IFRS standards while collaborating cross-functionally.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for consolidating financial reports for the Coatings business unit
- Preparation and review of annual financial statements, ensuring compliance with IFRS standards
- Support internal stakeholders and external regulatory authorities
- Apply a risk-based approach to financial reporting
- Provide technical IFRS expertise and implement accounting policies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve transparency and communication
- Identify opportunities for process and technology improvements to maintain efficiency
Requirements
- University degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
- Professional certifications such as CPA or CA are a plus
- At least 5 years' professional experience in financial consolidation and IFRS reporting within a multinational company
- Experience in the chemical industry or similar sectors is advantageous
- Knowledge of consolidation principles, financial reporting standards, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in SAP and advanced MS Office skills
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Excellent English skills and strong interpersonal abilities
