About the role
- Manager Project Finance overseeing the financial control of a significant data center construction. Collaborating with various departments to ensure accurate financial planning and reporting.
Responsibilities
- Overall responsibility for the commercial management of the construction of one of Germany’s largest data centers
- Preparation and monitoring of cost planning for complex construction projects
- Planning and tracking project cash flow to ensure project financing
- Controlling of project companies and support in corporate controlling (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow)
- Preparation and commentary of monthly and quarterly reporting for projects and project companies
- Comprehensive planning of project companies and development of cross-departmental business cases
- Further development of tools and processes in the Project Finance area
- Conducting detailed financial analyses and preparing management presentations
- Close collaboration with Construction, Treasury, Sales, Operations and other specialist departments
Requirements
- Degree in economics, business administration or a related field
- Several years of professional experience in project controlling, ideally in an international environment
- Experience in corporate controlling
- Very good MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite) and tools such as COOR and LucaNet is an advantage
- Fluent German and English
