About the role

  • EHS Manager leading compliance and safety initiatives across Performance Materials sites in North America. Driving continuous improvement and ensuring adherence to Responsible Care® culture.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for deployment of the Responsible Care® culture across Performance Materials’ (PMN) thirteen sites in North America
  • Directly supervises a diverse team of EHS professionals to ensure EHS compliance
  • Drives the Exposure Reduction Process across all N-PMN Sites to reduce or eliminate at-risk behaviors and conditions
  • Owns the Wyandotte Site Contractor Safety Program by developing contractor selection and oversight processes
  • Provides OSIH support for the Wyandotte Site Services Team
  • Advises the EHS&S Director as an active member of the N‑PMN/OH Leadership Team

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Ten (10)+ years of experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
  • Three (3) years of supervisory or leadership experience managing EHS or other professionals and/or multidisciplinary teams preferred.
  • Lean Six Sigma experience is preferred to drive continuous improvement in occupational health and safety performance.
