About the role
- Controller managing financial planning and reporting for a healthcare organization in Dortmund. Supporting budgeting, forecasting, and financial negotiations in a hybrid work setting.
Responsibilities
- Preparation of multi-year financial planning and intra-year earnings projections
- Support for monthly closings
- Year-end closing tasks (revenue reconciliation, valuation of year-end carryovers, preparation of audit attestations)
- Preparation and support for compensation/reimbursement negotiations
- Calculation of revenue adjustments/compensations
Requirements
- Degree in business administration or certification as a Certified Accountant (Bilanzbuchhalter)
- Professional experience in controlling, preferably in the hospital or healthcare sector
- Knowledge of earnings planning and financial accounting
- Experience with ERP systems, BI tools, and databases, preferably SAP and TIP HCe
- Excellent MS Office skills, especially Excel
- Strong numerical aptitude and a pronounced analytical mindset
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to quickly grasp new information
- Independent, results-oriented working style
