About the role

  • Chains Partnership Manager developing relationships through account penetration, sales, and marketing activities for Parts Town, a distributor of restaurant equipment and appliance parts.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain relationships with customers through account penetration, sales, and marketing activities
  • Achieve goals by building a business plan to maximize profitable growth
  • Build communication and other tools with marketing to increase sales
  • Create new business building opportunities
  • Lead a book of key chain restaurant partnerships and their franchise networks through new business prospecting, exceptional relationship development, and ambitious growth strategies
  • Grow a large book of retail accounts by strengthening existing relationships and uncovering new opportunities
  • Engage regularly with mid-tier to C-suite leaders through focused outreach (around 20 calls/day) and strategic in-person visits
  • Travel to see customer operations firsthand, build trust, and present value propositions and digital tools
  • Partner with internal teams while independently driving your own pipeline, prioritizing warm leads, and growing your book of accounts

Requirements

  • Self-driven, independent sales professional with a strong presence to manage a large, diverse book of business
  • Comfortable traveling up to 40% of the time to meet customers on-site
  • Proven success in account management and new business development, handling a high volume of accounts, and driving YoY growth
  • Skilled at engaging leaders, presenting value propositions, and developing partnerships end-to-end
  • Confident making outbound calls and maintaining strong talk-time to generate and nurture opportunities
  • Can work independently but thrives in a collaborative, team atmosphere
  • Fantastic communication & proficient in English (verbal and written)
  • Quality, high-speed internet connection at home
  • Basic Microsoft Office Skills and comfortable using PowerPoint and Excel (experience using CRM and ERP systems, specifically Salesforce or SAP, is a bonus!)
  • Natural born leader, motivated by long-term professional sales growth
  • Extensive B2B Sales experience (bonus points for any knowledge or experience in Supply Chain, Finance and/or Marketing)
