About the role

  • Risk Analyst evaluating new and emerging risks in electric operations at PG&E. Collaborating with compliance teams and asset owners on risk management frameworks.

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with our asset strategy, engineering, wildfire, regulatory, and compliance teams
  • Work closely with asset family owners and compliance teams to evaluate new and emerging risks
  • Facilitate conversations with SMEs and Risk Teams to enhance or develop new KRIs
  • Assist in data collection efforts for risk analysis initiatives being conducted
  • Leverage relationships and support the development of risk presentations for different audiences (e.g. RCC, SLT Risk Deep Dives, SNO Material)
  • Support GRC and regulatory data requests and BPD deliverables

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Seven years of experience in risk management, utility operations, and/or related field
  • 2+ years’ experience in electric operations, asset management and strategy
  • Ability to synthesize complex issues into easy-to-understand concepts
  • Ability to work across multiple functions and build strong working relationships
  • Ability to influence varying levels of leadership and collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Ability to facilitate decision-making and engage appropriate SMEs in problem-solving teams
