About the role

  • User Researcher responsible for ensuring products meet participant needs in healthcare research. Collaborating with product teams to improve user experience across platforms and services.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and conduct **user research across the product lifecycle** using a range of qualitative and quantitative methods, including interviews, surveys, diary studies, usability testing, and ethnographic research
  • Generate **clear, actionable insights** that inform product design, improve user experience, and support strategic priorities
  • Design and run **usability testing** to refine products and services before launch
  • Evaluate products and services after launch to understand impact and identify opportunities for improvement
  • Work closely with **product analysts, designers, and cross-functional teams** to connect research insights with product decisions
  • Facilitate **workshops and collaborative sessions** to align teams around participant insights
  • Maintain a **repository of research findings** to support ongoing and future work
  • Support colleagues in planning and conducting research, sharing best practices and expertise
  • Champion **inclusive and accessible research practices**, ensuring participant voices are represented in decision-making

Requirements

  • Proven experience conducting **user research for digital products or services**
  • Experience independently designing and delivering research studies
  • Strong knowledge of **user research methods**, including interviews, usability testing (moderated and unmoderated), surveys, and behavioural analysis
  • The ability to translate complex findings into **clear insights and practical recommendations**
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present research findings to diverse stakeholders
  • Experience using **research tools and platforms** for recruitment, testing, analysis, and documentation
  • Experience working in **agile, cross-functional teams** through discovery and delivery phases
  • Confidence advocating for **user-centred thinking** across teams
