Responsibilities
Drive the optimization of clinical workflows and operational processes
Collaborate with healthcare providers, administrators, and staff to identify inefficiencies
Implement evidence-based improvements and support the center’s goals
Coach and mentor process improvement efforts that are of moderate difficulty
Lead multi-departmental or cross functional process improvement initiatives
Analyze workflows, data, and KPIs to pinpoint inefficiencies
Facilitate workshops and training sessions
Develop process maps and documentation
Partner with leadership to align efforts with strategic goals
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, business, industrial engineering, or related field required
Master’s degree preferred (e.g., MBA, MPH, MHA)
3-5 years of experience in process improvement required
Experienced in a healthcare or clinical setting preferred
Experience working in an academic medical center or large hospital system preferred
Lean Six Sigma preferred
PMP certification or similar preferred
Strong analytical and data visualization skills
Advanced Microsoft Office skills with heavy emphasis in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint as well as Visio
