About the role
- Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Coordinator overseeing HSEQ governance processes for North America. Leading a team to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards while providing operational support.
Responsibilities
- Provide HSEQ governance for the North American Region.
- Ensure the Region has efficient and effective health, safety, quality, and sustainability structures and processes.
- Provide leadership in the provision of facilities, information technology, and security across the organization.
- Support North America’s Vice President - Commercial Director and the Global HSEQ Director.
- Be the subject matter expert (SME) on HSEQ issues ensuring policy and legal compliance and commercial and operational excellence.
Requirements
- Five years’ experience managing HSEQ (9001, 14001,17025, 27001, and 45001) functions that includes at least light industrial activities
- Completion of post-secondary education in a related discipline
- Established record of implementing or significantly improving HSEQ processes in at least a medium size organization
- Ability to obtain a Canadian Security clearance
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills
