About the role
- Controller supporting financial planning at Ottobock by analyzing financials and developing planning processes. Engaging directly with the management team to improve planning accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Support across the entire planning process, including developing relevant planning assumptions, coordinating foreign subsidiaries, and analyzing results
- Conceptual development and implementation of specific planning models, including modeling of medium-term plans
- Conduct (ad-hoc) analyses to identify need for action and derive measures to improve the accuracy and quality of planning
- Prepare and communicate results in clear, impactful presentations for the Executive Board
- Take responsibility in projects to further develop the planning process, including contributing to the implementation of a planning tool
Requirements
- Completed degree in Economics, Controlling, Finance or a related field
- At least 3 years of relevant professional experience in financial planning
- Excellent Excel skills, particularly in modeling medium-term plans and scenarios
- Plus: experience implementing and working with dedicated planning tools (e.g., Jedox)
- Strong analytical skills, a strong results orientation and proven problem-solving ability
- Willingness to take on responsibility
- Very good communication and presentation skills in German and English
