Responsibilities
Planning, costing, funding application and budget control for national and international funded projects as well as industrial projects, taking into account public budgetary law and commercial/financial aspects
Advising project managers and executives in all project phases and supporting departments with personnel planning, allocation of time and project resources, budget control, and business management and funding-law matters
Responsible for accounts receivable including dunning/collections
Acting as an interface between the institute and central administration on cross-functional matters
Supporting forecasting, budget planning, annual financial statements and preliminary calculation of hourly rates
Performing various analyses in project controlling using SAP

Requirements
Completed commercial vocational training, a Bachelor's degree in Economics/Business Administration, or an equivalent qualification
Relevant professional experience in project controlling is desirable but not required
Strong analytical skills and very good numerical aptitude
A very careful, solution-oriented and independent working style
Strong communication skills, team orientation and a service-minded approach
Very good German and English language skills
Confident use of MS Office programs, especially for reporting with Excel, and preferably initial experience with SAP
