About the role

  • Sales Representative in the electrical wholesale sector responsible for customer care and sales activities. Working closely with suppliers and clients to ensure quality service in Erfurt.

Responsibilities

  • Sales and selling of the entire product range
  • Managing and nurturing existing customers
  • Processing and following up on orders, and managing order confirmations
  • Contributing to assortment planning in coordination with branch management and customers
  • Implementing sales-promotional activities
  • Communicating with suppliers and customers
  • Receiving, inspecting, and posting goods
  • Monitoring credit lines and customer terms
  • Collaborating with the field sales team
  • Guiding trainees and interns
  • Performing cash register closings
  • Preparing and following up on quotations
  • Handling customer complaints

Requirements

  • Completed commercial, technical or vocational training, or a comparable qualification (e.g., in electrical engineering)
  • Good commercial understanding
  • Very good German language skills, both spoken and written
