About the role

  • Senior Financial Analyst providing finance support for Ottava teams within Johnson & Johnson. Focusing on budgeting, forecasting, and collaboration across functional teams to enhance financial processes.

Responsibilities

  • Take charge of end-to-end finance support for multiple Ottava teams
  • Ensure timely and accurate financial closure for period close activities
  • Drive financial forecasts and budget planning
  • Collaborate for essential financial submissions with the FP&A consolidation team
  • Provide insights through monthly Budget vs. Actual reviews
  • Act as a bridge between business unit partners and teams in various areas
  • Process transactions efficiently with shared services
  • Support preparation of Management Review Decks and strategic projects
  • Create engaging financial graphs and charts for presentations
  • Conduct routine audits of internal processes for enhancement opportunities

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting, Economics, Business Analytics, Finance, or a related field is required.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in financial analysis, with a strong focus on strategic financial analysis.
  • A solid understanding of financial principles, budgeting, forecasting, and modeling is essential.
  • Excellent analytical and quantitative skills with the capacity to interpret complex financial data and deliver actionable insights.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis tools and software.
  • Prior experience with SAP, TM1, and Bravo is preferred.
