About the role
- Sr. Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis at Tenneco overseeing financial management and reporting. Responsible for budgeting, forecasting, and providing insights to support business decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead annual budgeting, Monthly/quarterly forecasting and weekly flash reporting processes for all business units
- Develop rolling forecasts and scenario analysis to support decision-making
- Align financial plans with production schedules, capacity utilization, and sales forecasts
- Prepare monthly management reports, variance analysis, and KPI dashboards
- Analyze cost structures, margins, and profitability by product line, plant, and customer
- Provide actionable insights to improve operational efficiency and working capital
- Partner with operations and supply chain teams to optimize inventory, production costs, and capacity planning
- Support pricing decisions, cost reduction initiatives, and capital investment evaluations (CapEx ROI)
- Drive financial modeling for new product launches and customer programs
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards, internal controls, and corporate policies
- Support audits and regulatory reporting requirements
- Enhance FP&A processes through automation and advanced analytics tools (ERP, BI dashboards)
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA) mandatory
- MBA in Finance preferred
- 10–15 years of progressive experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or business finance
- Strong exposure to manufacturing industry; auto parts manufacturing experience highly desirable
- Experience with global stakeholders and Senior Management is a must
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- ERP systems (SAP) and BI tools (Power BI) experience preferred
- Hyperion/One Stream Reporting
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management
- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
