Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
Build and enhance applications using the Lightning framework for internal and external users
Support ongoing production Salesforce instances to ensure business continuity
Maintain documentation for workflows, data migration plans, and standard operating procedures
Assess the impact of proposed changes and recommend alternative solutions, including trade-off analysis
Collaborating with Mulesoft integration developers to ensure seamless data flow between Salesforce and third-party systems (e.g., marketing automation, ERP)
Perform code reviews to ensure quality and mentor junior developers
Communicate effectively with IT leaders and business stakeholders regarding project status, enhancements, and production support
Requirements
5+ years of Salesforce development experience
Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable solutions using Salesforce best practices
Advanced proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SLDS, CSS, and SOQL/SOSL
Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Data 360
Strong knowledge of Lighting framework, particularly for developing custom lightning components on our SFDC Community pages
Experience with APIs (REST/SOAP), middleware tools (MuleSoft preferred), and data migration strategies
Expert level understanding of Salesforce integration patterns
Experience with Platform Events for event-driven architecture and asynchronous communication between Salesforce and external systems
Experience with CI/CD tools (Gearset, Copado), Salesforce CLI, and Git for version control and deployment automation
BS in an IT-related discipline such as Computer Science, web development or equivalent experience
