About the role
- Senior Salesforce Developer designing and implementing scalable Salesforce solutions at Insulet. Focused on multiple Salesforce clouds including Service, Health, and Marketing Cloud.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain custom solutions on the Salesforce platform using Apex and Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- Build and enhance applications using the Lightning framework for internal and external users
- Support ongoing production Salesforce instances to ensure business continuity
- Maintain documentation for workflows, data migration plans, and standard operating procedures
- Assess the impact of proposed changes and recommend alternative solutions, including trade-off analysis
- Collaborating with Mulesoft integration developers to ensure seamless data flow between Salesforce and third-party systems (e.g., marketing automation, ERP)
- Perform code reviews to ensure quality and mentor junior developers
- Communicate effectively with IT leaders and business stakeholders regarding project status, enhancements, and production support
Requirements
- 5+ years of Salesforce development experience
- Proven track record of designing and implementing scalable solutions using Salesforce best practices
- Advanced proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SLDS, CSS, and SOQL/SOSL
- Hands-on experience with Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Health Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Data 360
- Strong knowledge of Lighting framework, particularly for developing custom lightning components on our SFDC Community pages
- Experience with APIs (REST/SOAP), middleware tools (MuleSoft preferred), and data migration strategies
- Expert level understanding of Salesforce integration patterns
- Experience with Platform Events for event-driven architecture and asynchronous communication between Salesforce and external systems
- Experience with CI/CD tools (Gearset, Copado), Salesforce CLI, and Git for version control and deployment automation
- BS in an IT-related discipline such as Computer Science, web development or equivalent experience
