- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of UX researchers across qualitative and quantitative disciplines.
- Advocate for the voice of the user across cross-functional teams including Product, Design, Engineering, and Marketing.
- Oversee the planning and execution of user research studies including usability testing, ethnographic research, surveys, and data analysis.
- Translate complex user behaviors and needs into actionable insights.
- Ensure research findings are effectively communicated and integrated into product roadmaps.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to prioritize research initiatives and influence product strategy.
- Foster a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and empathy across the organization.
- Promote best practices in research methodologies, tools, and ethics.
- Build scalable research operations including participant recruitment, tooling, and knowledge management.
- Monitor and report on research impact and ROI to executive leadership.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies in UX and user research.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in UX research, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving strategic impact through user insights.
- Expertise in a wide range of research methods and tools.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills.
- Experience working in agile, cross-functional environments.
- Advanced degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Anthropology, or related field preferred.
