About the role

  • Scheduling Engineer responsible for complex project scheduling and timeline management for energy infrastructure projects. Collaborating with teams to ensure timely project completion in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and own complex execution schedules, including defining the level of detail and descriptions of activities and resources for overhead line projects.
  • Schedule planning during the tender/bid phase.
  • Continuously update project schedules as required, including monitoring of resources.
  • Produce variance analyses and propose corrective measures to safeguard the final delivery date.
  • Define project structures together with project stakeholders, determine the critical path, dependencies and lead times.
  • Integrate third-party schedules into an overall master schedule.
  • Participate in construction and scheduling meetings with customers and project managers.
  • Own and ensure quality standards for schedule management, including regular project risk analyses.
  • Consolidate individual schedules for OHS in-house services into a division-level schedule.
  • Comply with the requirements of the IM system of Omexom Hochspannung GmbH and actively contribute to the continuous improvement of all business processes.
  • Perform assigned special tasks.

Requirements

  • University degree, preferably in Civil Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Several years of professional experience in project management for construction projects, preferably in the delivery of high-voltage projects with a focus on scheduling, schedule control and monitoring.
  • Experience working across interfaces with typical technical and project-specific disciplines.
  • Professional proficiency in MS Project and/or Primavera and very good MS Office skills.
  • Driving licence class B and strong consulting skills and communication abilities.
  • Willingness to travel (during probation: 2–3 days per week; thereafter as required and by agreement).
  • Business-fluent German.
