Responsibilities
Process payroll on assigned schedules (including bi-weekly cycles)
Manage full-cycle payroll activities, including audits, reconciliations, reporting, and tax filings
Administer employee benefits programs, including health and welfare plans and retirement plans
Perform benefit billing reconciliations and submit accurate data for timely premium payments
Audit and reconcile quarterly and annual employee tax reports and filings
Maintain payroll and benefits compliance with federal, state, and local regulations
Follow internal policies and procedures related to payroll and benefits operations
Requirements
Minimum five (5) years of experience in a Payroll and Benefits role
Strong understanding of payroll processing and benefits administration practices
Demonstrated math and analytical skills
Working knowledge of ACA, COBRA, ERISA, and basic labor laws
High level of organization and attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
