About the role

  • Logistics Manager overseeing special equipment operations and subcontractor negotiations in a family-run logistics company. Responsible for developing solutions and implementing operational needs with travel to Eastern Europe.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the performance of our specialized equipment and for ensuring its proper operation
  • Develop solutions for the requirements of the operational units
  • Together with key users, contractors and operators, select the appropriate solution approach and take responsibility for implementing the solution
  • Source and negotiate with subcontractors and select suitable partners to achieve our goals together. This role also requires travel to Eastern European countries.

Requirements

  • Completed vocational training, e.g. in logistics or a commercial apprenticeship
  • Experience in dispatching/operations planning, fleet management and procurement
  • Experience with common Microsoft tools
  • Good command of German; spoken and written Bulgarian is an advantage
  • Strong communication skills, high motivation and flexibility
