About the role

  • Manage debt recovery initiatives at Octopus Energy France while leading a finance team. Focus on innovative solutions to assist vulnerable clients and improve recovery processes.

Responsibilities

  • Design effective customer journeys to encourage customers with overdue payments to settle their debts.
  • Implement tailored solutions to enable financially vulnerable customers to regularize their situation, as well as compassionate, personalized, and innovative measures to support them sustainably.
  • Create specific pathways and support programs for vulnerable customers.
  • Analyze business needs and write clear, detailed, operational specifications to articulate requirements while ensuring smooth communication with the technical team.
  • Oversee sometimes long and complex projects, acting as the primary point of contact for technical teams.
  • Establish contracts and operational procedures for information exchange.
  • Monitor partner recovery performance in detail.
  • Steer strategy based on partner performance.
  • Implement KPIs and dashboards to measure the impact of implemented solutions.
  • Propose improvements based on field feedback and data analysis.
  • Actively contribute to defining the recovery team's project roadmap.
  • Strengthen our partner network and institutional relationships to help clients access financial and social assistance.
  • Develop processes dedicated to vulnerable clients by offering enhanced support.
  • Contribute to implementing innovative and creative solutions for financially precarious clients.

Requirements

  • At least 5 years' experience in project management, ideally in finance, collections, or customer relations;
  • At least 3 years of team management experience;
  • Organized and demonstrates leadership: you can manage and drive a team forward as well as complex projects with a variety of stakeholders;
  • Good level of English: exchanges with the technical teams are conducted exclusively in English;
  • You must be autonomous and responsible;
  • Highly committed, you thrive during peak activity periods and in difficult cases while remaining rigorous. You know how to prioritize your own work and that of your team.
