About the role

  • Account Executive responsible for developing and executing sales strategies for o9 Solutions. Managing sales lifecycle and building relationships with prospects in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the opportunity strategy to sell o9 Solutions’ services to prospecting customers
  • Establish, build, and maintain close professional external relationships
  • Manage the entire sales lifecycle from inbound lead qualification through final contract execution
  • Meet with prospective clients to discuss viable opportunities to understand a client’s business needs, identify the scope of business, and budget targets utilizing information gathering techniques
  • Apply business and industry knowledge to understand how key factors impact business strategies and customer organizations
  • Partner with internal teams to develop and present pitches and live software demonstrations
  • Build business partnerships and develop key customer relationships to maximize account profitability
  • Conduct competitive analysis of competitors’ offerings and strategies
  • Negotiate with others by identifying desired outcomes, organizational priorities, and appropriate strategies and concessions
  • Play a key role in RFI/RFP processes

Requirements

  • Master’s degree required, MBA is a plus
  • A minimum of 5+ years of consultative sales experience with a proven track record of top performance with drive
  • Understanding and strong affinity with supply chain transformation highly appreciated
  • Knowledge about Retail, CPG, Manufacturing, Tier 1 / 2 supply chains
  • Proven ability to develop and execute sales strategies
  • Excellent presentation skills, as this is a client-facing role within the organization
  • Ability to build trust from senior-level management and executives, building strong relationships and ability to obtain internal champions at target accounts
  • Sharp mindset and energetic entrepreneurial approach, with a solid understanding of how to overcome objections
  • Ability to clearly articulate your viewpoint to all levels of customers and management, finding creative ways to position o9
  • Tech-savvy ability to successfully run a software demonstration
  • Strong ability to lead by example and demonstrate proficiency in both product and domain while being high on energy and low on ego.
