About the role
- Talent Acquisition Specialist overseeing recruitment processes in a biotech startup. Collaborating with hiring managers to enhance candidate experience and support strategic objectives in a high-tech environment.
Responsibilities
- Actively source candidates through diverse channels, including direct outreach, job boards, networking events and referrals.
- Work closely with hiring managers to define role requirements, create job descriptions and provide strategic insights on candidate selection.
- Review resumes, conduct initial video calls and guide candidates through the interview process.
- Schedule and manage interviews and provide structured feedback.
- Extend and negotiate offers and prepare employment contracts that align with company policies.
- Provide a seamless and positive candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
- Contribute to HR projects, such as employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing.
Requirements
- 2 years of experience in talent acquisition in a high-tech or engineering-focused environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (German is considered a plus)
- Willingness to travel to Ulm once a month
- Strong ability to manage multiple roles while meeting tight deadlines
- Self-driven, with a problem-solving mindset and the ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities
- Hands-on experience with applicant tracking systems (e.g. Personio) and other sourcing tools
- Educational background in an engineering field is considered a strong advantage.
