About the role

  • Division Sales Manager for Nucor Steel Memphis focusing on commercial strategy and customer experience. Leading the operation while collaborating with Market Sales Managers and DSMs.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining a division commercial strategy for the Memphis Engineered Bar Mill
  • Working closely with the Engineered Bar Group’s Market Sales Managers to develop and execute this strategy
  • Working closely with the Sales Service & Material Handling Manager to ensure that Nucor Memphis provides best-in-class customer experience
  • Analyzing data and situations, thinking strategically, negotiating effectively, and managing multiple business development projects simultaneously
  • Working collaboratively within the team to motivate and inspire an entire operation as part of the Leadership Team at Nucor Steel Memphis
  • Spending significant time in the field with DSMs, Market Sales Managers and customers across all market segments
  • Demonstrating the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times.

Requirements

  • Three years of steel related commercial experience.
  • Steelmaking Commercial, Sales or Marketing experience
  • Knowledge of the Engineered Bar business.
  • Four-year degree in Engineering, Business or Marketing.
  • Willing to relocate within Nucor as future advancement opportunities arise.
