About the role

  • Sales Director leading a high-performing team of Account Executives for consultant group benefits at Canada Life. Oversees sales strategies and maintains client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a high performing team of Account Executives focused on growing our consultant group benefits business
  • Manage the sales process from request for proposal to finalist presentation
  • Maintain and strengthen relationships with consultants and customers to achieve annual sales, persistency, and other targets
  • Promote additional products and services with consultants, customers, and regional service counterpart(s) to enhance client retention

Requirements

  • 10+ years of sales experience in the Canadian Group Insurance ideally in leadership
  • Excellent relationship management skills
  • Understand the business environment and consultants/customer needs to create competitive advantage
  • Create alignment on opportunities to drive sales results and ensure retention of clients
  • Post secondary education or equivalent work experience
  • Valid driver’s license and vehicle
