About the role
- Lead ABS Developer & Solution Architect responsible for coordinating global developer teams and implementing ABS software. Ensuring quality through reviews and testing across multiple locations.
Responsibilities
- You assume technical leadership as Lead ABS Developer & Solution Architect in the claims domain
- You coordinate and manage international development teams across multiple locations (CH, DE, ES, India)
- You are responsible for implementing global ABS software components while accounting for local extensions
- You guide developers on the architecture, implementation, and customization of ABS and CISL components
- You ensure the highest level of quality assurance through code reviews, unit tests, and system integration tests
Requirements
- More than 10 years of experience as a Lead Developer with a strong ownership mindset and a can-do attitude
- Solid ABS development experience (>3 years) with a focus on Claims File as well as ABS & CISLv2 core knowledge
- Strong knowledge of Java (from version 12), Spring Boot, OSGi / Eclipse plugins, and REST services
- Experience with ABS extensions and CISL; ideally familiar with ABS Core plug-ins and claims business processes
- Proficiency with Git, JUnit, agile methodologies, and tools such as Jenkins, Jira, DBVisualizer, Eclipse / IntelliJ
