About the role

  • Obesity Cardiology Marketing intern contributing to marketing strategies and promotional materials for Novo Nordisk. Collaborating with cross-functional teams and developing innovative cardiologist engagement tactics.

Responsibilities

  • Manage cardiologist-facing promotional materials, ensuring clinical accuracy, brand consistency, and regulatory compliance.
  • Support the Promotional Review Board submission process for cardiology materials: learn, manage, and drive timely approvals and quality control of job submissions.
  • Support development and delivery of congress assets for cardiology meetings, including booth materials, etc.
  • Provide cross-functional support on ad hoc cardiology projects, collaborating with medical, marketing, and legal teams to meet project objectives.
  • Contribute to tactical planning for the cardiology portfolio, translating strategy into actionable short-term initiatives.
  • Develop and present at least one innovative cardiologist engagement tactic to the team, championing new approaches to enhance HCP relationships and clinical impact.

Requirements

  • Must be a current student enrolled or recently graduated (graduation date no earlier than April 2026) at/from an accredited college or university pursuing at least a bachelor’s degree
  • A completed or in progress undergraduate, graduate or doctoral degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmacy, Life Sciences or a related discipline preferred
  • Class year of a junior or senior preferred
  • Strong academic record with a preferred cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  • Conscientious self-starter with good organizational skills, project management skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to balance multiple projects and priorities, must be able to multi-task
  • Strong interpersonal communication and ability to collaborate with teams; must effectively operate independently, across functional lines, and with internal customers
  • Demonstrated personal initiative, self-motivation, flexibility, adaptability and willingness to learn
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
