About the role

Responsibilities
- Provide care and support to our residents in accordance with individualized care plans, taking their wishes and needs into account
- Collaborate with attending physicians, therapists, and family members to ensure the best possible care and to build a strong relationship of trust
- Implement our company concept(s) for working with people with dementia to ensure respectful, needs-oriented care
- Provide collegial consultation and support to staff in specialized care to consistently achieve the highest quality of care
- Deliver internal training on relevant topics to continuously expand the team’s expertise
- Actively participate in quality circles and working groups to continuously improve care processes
- Conduct biographical work in close cooperation with the primary caregiver to respectfully integrate the individual histories of our residents
- Help design the facility’s environment to create a homely and appealing setting that meets the needs of our residents
Requirements
- Completed training as a qualified nursing professional (m/f/d)
- Completed further training as a gerontopsychiatric care and support specialist according to AVPfleWoqG — ideally with relevant professional experience
- Empathy and sensitivity in dealing with our residents
- Reliability and team spirit – you enjoy working closely with colleagues and contribute actively to the team
- Flexibility and a sense of responsibility – you are willing to adapt to different needs and situations
- Motivation and willingness to learn – you are open to further training and want to continue developing professionally
