Responsibilities
Lead the design, execution, and continuous improvement of the enterprise privacy program
Interpret and operationalize privacy regulations (e.g. CCPA/CPRA, and other state laws) into actionable policies, standards, and procedures
Serve as a subject matter expert on privacy risk, advising business and technology teams on privacy impacts of new initiatives, systems, and data use
Oversee privacy impact assessments (PIAs/DPIAs) and ensure mitigation plans are implemented
Partner with Legal and Information security on incident response, breach notification, and regulatory inquiries
Define and maintain privacy governance artifacts including policies, training materials, records of processing, and consent management practices
Support data subject rights processes, including intake, review, and response coordination
Develop and deliver privacy awareness and training programs across the organization
Monitor regulatory changes and assess impacts to business operations and compliance posture
Track and report privacy metrics to demonstrate privacy program effectiveness and risk posture to leadership
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in law, Business, Information System, Public Policy or related field with 8 years’ experience in privacy, data protection, compliance, or risk management or Master’s degree with 6 years’ relevant experience
Demonstrated expertise in U.S. privacy laws and regulatory frameworks
Experience implementing or managing enterprise privacy programs
Strong ability to translate legal and regulatory requirements into operational processes
