About the role
- As a Manual QA Engineer, ensure quality and security in NordLayer's cybersecurity platform. Conduct manual testing and collaborate on improvement strategies for deployment readiness.
Responsibilities
- Manual testing of a marketing website.
- Ensure cross-browser/device/responsive quality, perform accessibility (WCAG) checks and visual QA to design/brand.
- Participate in the entire testing lifecycle (requirements for testing, preparing test cases, performing functional testing, and non-functional testing).
- Analyze found bugs during tests and prepare recommendations for process improvements in order to avoid similar cases.
- Take ownership of quality improvement strategy development and implementation.
- Ensure that the changes are at a high-quality level for deployment.
Requirements
- 2+ years experience in manual software testing
- Advanced knowledge of test design and a variety of testing techniques
- Strategic thinking and the ability to see the bigger picture of the whole product from a business perspective and processes
- Analytical and problem-solving skills
- Work hand in hand and effectively communicate with the team
- Good written and spoken English skills.
