Senior Patent Counsel responsible for managing and litigating standard essential patents at Nokia. Overseeing patent litigation and coordinating with external legal resources.
Responsibilities
Identify & prepare patents for litigation
Validity & essentially analysis, prosecution of litigation assets, preparation for legal actions
Being responsible for infringement and validity related matters/proceedings in patent litigation activities globally
Coordinating, guiding and reviewing external work
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of professional hands-on experience in patent business at a law firm and/or in house
Experience in patent litigation
Engineering Degree in Telecommunications, Physics/Mathematics or equivalent, combined with Patent Attorney or Law qualification
Understanding of 3GPP technologies
Excellent communication and analytical skills
Proactive, result-oriented, mindset with a strong drive to excel in high-pressure, high-stakes environment
Proven track record of resolving complex issues and strategy execution
Proven ability to navigate and organize work across multiple teams, disciplines, and stakeholders—facilitating seamless collaboration throughout project lifecycle
Great skills in building relationships with internal and external stakeholders
