Responsibilities

• Draft and prosecute globally pharmaceutical patent applications
• Analyze risks and develop tactical strategies
• Advise teams and senior management about exclusivity and litigation risks
• Communicate advice understandably to laypersons
• Contribute to the implementation of new policies and procedures
• Lead task-directed teams

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in chemistry, medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, or related field
• Juris Doctor (J.D.)
• Minimum 5 years post-JD experience as a patent attorney
• Licensed to practice law in at least one state of the USA
• Licensed to represent clients in patent matters before the USPTO
• Proactive problem-solver
• High learning agility
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
