About the role

  • Business Development Manager accelerating growth in Nextpower’s tracker tools and services portfolio. Leading sales cycles, building customer relationships in the utility-scale solar industry.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute global growth strategies for Nextpower’s tools and services portfolio
  • Drive and close new business opportunities
  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting, solution development, pricing strategy, negotiation, and closure
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to maximize revenue growth
  • Collaborate with Nextpower's global account management team to identify value-add opportunities for tool and services solutions
  • Establish trusted advisor relationships with key decision-makers
  • Translate customer operational challenges into differentiated service and tools solutions
  • Represent Nextpower at industry events and conferences to elevate brand visibility and thought leadership
  • Maintain strong market intelligence on industry trends, competitive positioning, and emerging customer needs
  • Partner with regional sales, supply chain, operations, product, and project management teams to ensure successful solution delivery
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to define new service offerings, pricing models, and scalable commercial processes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of B2B sales experience in a sales or business development role within a global company
  • Proven ability to manage complex sales
  • Strong negotiation and contract management skills
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Demonstrated attention to detail in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Ability to execute and manage multiple tasks in parallel
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office and comfortable learning new systems
  • Experience utilizing CRM (Salesforce preferred) and ERP (Netsuite preferred)
  • Ability to travel 25% of the time
