About the role

  • Procurement Manager leading purchasing and supply chain operations at Nestig, a venture-backed baby brand. Mentoring team and improving inventory management and sourcing as the company scales internationally.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of two Buyer direct reports, fostering a culture of excellence, ownership, and continuous improvement and growth;
  • Foster clear, proactive communication with cross-functional stakeholders to align procurement priorities, manage expectations, and support shared business objectives;
  • Ensure accurate, real-time visibility into inventory levels, incoming deliveries, and product availability through clear reporting and dashboards that support cross-functional decision-making;
  • Streamline procurement and delivery workflows to eliminate friction and operational surprises;
  • Proactively identify and resolve risks related to shortages, delays, or supply disruptions;
  • Lead end-to-end supplier sourcing, evaluation, and negotiation processes, partnering with leadership to inform purchasing decisions and support margin improvement;
  • Lead international supply chain planning, including shipping strategies, lead times, and warehouse coordination;
  • Design and implement scalable procurement processes, systems, and controls to support increased supply chain complexity and international expansion;
  • Align purchasing decisions with broader company goals, demand planning, and operational capacity.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in procurement, with at least 1–2 years in a people-management role
  • Must be able to work onsite in our São Paulo office in Pinheiros three (3) days a week (Monday, Wednesday, Thursday)
  • Proficient in English (B2+), both written and verbal
  • A passion for Product Development — you enjoy creating and streamlining processes and building strong partnerships
  • Experience with supplier inspections and/or quality control, ideally within soft goods or comparable manufactured products
  • Working knowledge of quality standards, inspection tools, and procedural documentation, with the ability to interpret and apply them in sourcing decisions
  • Understanding of logistics, manufacturing, and production workflows, particularly as they relate to cost, lead times, and supplier performance
  • Comfortable with the ambiguity of changing priorities and flexible in embracing new ideas within a fast-paced environment
  • Demonstrated ability to autonomously manage multiple assignments simultaneously while meeting deadlines and analyzing impact
