About the role

  • Scrum Master II managing team performance and agile practices for Navy Federal. Collaborating closely with the Product Owner to prioritize initiatives and remove team impediments.

Responsibilities

  • Works closely with the Product Owner to prioritize and lead delivery of the initiative's capabilities
  • Removes impediments and facilitates team meetings and events
  • Fosters an environment for high performance
  • Manages a continuous workflow of the team
  • Advocates, adopts, and coaches the team on lean, agile, and scrum practices
  • Participates on projects with increasing complexity
  • Meets general problem-solving needs
  • Leads project teams with moderate complexities and ambiguities

Requirements

  • Basic functional and technical expertise in at least 1 analytics or business intelligence application or product
  • Significant project management experience
  • Strong fundamentals in advanced analytics, data integration, and visualization
  • Exposure with agile reporting tools such as Rally, Jira and Azure DevOps
  • Working knowledge of software development and system administration
  • Experience in resource allocation and management
  • Experience in leading, guiding and coaching professional staff
  • Experience leading agile development teams and facilitating team meetings in Agile environment
  • Working knowledge of development or operations framework methodologies, including Agile principles
  • Proficient in database and presentation software skills
  • Proficient in research, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Effective skill in building strategic and execution-focused plans and alliances with partner leadership
  • **Desired Qualification(s)**
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in Banking/Finance/Investments
  • Familiarity with industry standards and regulations
  • CSM and/or PMI-ACP certification or PMP
  • Advanced degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
