Maintaining safety and order on the train in accordance with applicable house rules
Operating onboard technical service equipment and remedying minor faults
Assisting and supporting passengers with reduced mobility during boarding and alighting
Securing and handing over lost property and assisting with stowing luggage and bicycles
Requirements
Completed training/qualification as a customer service representative in local/regional transport desirable
Full proof of qualification as a safety and service specialist in public transport (ÖPNV) is an advantage; alternatively willingness to undertake internal training
Ideally: certificate of proficiency in accordance with §34a GewO, recently completed first aid training, fire safety training, de-escalation training and BuP training
Confident command of German, spoken and written, and basic knowledge of English
Professional appearance and enjoyment in dealing with people, including in difficult situations
Service-oriented approach, reliability and ability to work in a team
Resilience, assertiveness and a sense of responsibility
Flexibility and willingness to work shift and rotating schedules, including nights, weekends and public holidays
