About the role

  • Global Account Executive overseeing coordination and communication in advertising agency. Managing global accounts, supporting local teams, and developing media expertise within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with the Global Account Manager to master coordination and communication across local agency teams, clients, and partners
  • Deploy global processes and guidelines in local markets and enforce local team compliance
  • Act as a key point of contact for local teams, supporting, training and advising them to resolve challenges and further their understanding of global processes and guidelines
  • Support Global Client team in developing best practices globally, furthering a test & learn and knowledge sharing culture
  • Collect & validate local team deliverables, ensuring that output always meets the highest standard, data is accurate, up to date & complete
  • Co-ordinate regular local market connect initiatives, supporting the Global Client team and suggesting ways to improve knowledge sharing and collaboration
  • Develop an understanding of local market challenges on strategy, activation, media planning and buying across all communication channels
  • Develop an understanding of media investment principles, practices, and performance, and put them to practice on concrete tasks
  • As part of the Global Client team, serve as a point of contact to certain global clients on planning/activation led matters
  • Work with the Global Account Manager on monthly financial invoicing and reconciliation
  • Be the owner of ClientSpace, responsible for managing user access and content, as well as proactively following up with local teams and suggesting improvements where needed

Requirements

  • Previous relevant experience within the media/marketing industry
  • 1 year of experience in client servicing or media planning
  • Committed to continuous learning & improvement
  • Accurate, thorough and attentive to detail
  • Tenacious in doing what’s necessary to achieve goals and push plans through to results
  • Self-starter and quick learner, always demonstrating initiative and proactiveness
  • Collaborative, building strong relationships with global team, local teams, clients, partners, and media owners
  • Effective under pressure, delivering multiple projects, tasks and work streams to meet tight deadlines
  • Agile, prioritising what’s urgent and important to achieve the team’s goals
  • Excellent verbal and written communicator
  • Confident and passionate presenter
  • Culturally aware and able to adapt to different cultural practices
  • Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Agency, project management or client service experience helpful but not required.
