About the role

  • Government Analyst I at Florida Department of Law Enforcement designing and providing training for OROC members. Focus on investigative missions, team building, and change implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate, design and provide training for Florida Department of Law Enforcement members
  • Emphasis on training devoted to investigative and forensic mission, team building, and organizational change
  • Conduct evaluations of on-going training needs assessments
  • Develop training programs and maintain training records on all OROC members
  • Create after action summary reports and make recommendations regarding curriculum changes

Requirements

  • Knowledge of information systems including usage as well as policies and procedures
  • Ability to effectively utilize common computer software such as Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to conduct thorough analytical assessments on assigned topics
  • Ability to use problem solving techniques
  • Ability to prioritize workload
  • Ability to direct administrative personnel
  • Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing
  • Ability to promote and maintain liaison with other local, state and federal agencies
  • Ability to establish lines of communication between various sources of intelligence in the furtherance of its collection, collation and dissemination
