About the role

  • Contract Analyst II conducting procurement actions for professional services at Florida Department of Transportation. Engaging with stakeholders and leading public meetings in Miami office.

Responsibilities

  • Perform and conduct procurement actions related to professional services advertisements.
  • Auditing consultant submittals.
  • Preparing advertisements and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinating with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Scheduling and facilitating both public and exempt meetings.
  • Regularly leading public meetings and facilitating group discussions.
  • Representing the District in a public-facing capacity.
  • Hosting marketing presentations and delivering training sessions.

Requirements

  • An associate's degree from an accredited college or university and two years of non-professional or professional business experience.
  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university can substitute for the required experience.
  • Professional or nonprofessional experience as described above can substitute on a year-for-year basis for the required college education.
  • Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) or Engineering Intern (E.I.) license can substitute for 2 years of experience.
