Responsibilities
- Application development and maintenance: Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure applications using the .NET ecosystem.
- Software architecture: Able to design complex software architectures, including microservices, RESTful APIs and event-driven applications.
- Database management: Experience with database design, query optimization and data integration. Knowledge of SQL Server is frequently required.
- Testing and QA: Develop and implement automated testing strategies to ensure software quality.
- DevOps and CI/CD: Implement DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD), to automate the development pipeline.
- Code review and mentoring: Conduct code reviews and provide mentorship to less experienced developers.
Requirements
- C# and .NET Framework/Core: Deep knowledge of C# and relevant versions of the .NET Framework and .NET Core.
- SOLID principles and design patterns: Strong understanding of SOLID principles and experience applying software design patterns.
- Security: Knowledge of application security best practices, including authentication, authorization, and protection against common vulnerabilities.
- Cloud computing: Familiarity with cloud services, especially AWS, within the .NET ecosystem.
- Nice to have: Experience with Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of NoSQL databases, such as MongoDB or Cosmos DB, can be an advantage.
- Experience with messaging systems (such as RabbitMQ or Kafka) and event-driven architectures.
- Knowledge of observability strategies and tools such as Datadog.
