About the role
- Develop backend microservices for Kaufland stores in Europe. Enhance software quality and support the agile team in ambitious software solutions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain backend microservices serving one of the biggest software systems which operates in all Kaufland stores in Europe
- Regularly enhance the overall software quality and implement good practices
- Creating clean, well-documented, maintainable code with high test coverage
- Supporting our agile development team in designing, creating and implementing ambitious software solutions for our internal systems in an agile way (Scrum/Kanban)
Requirements
- Kotlin Mastery: 4+ years of professional experience, specifically utilizing Coroutines and reactive patterns.
- Angular & TypeScript: 4+ years of experience building complex SPAs (Single Page Applications) with high performance.
- Reactive Backend: Hands-on experience with Vert.x or Ktor for high-concurrency systems.
- Data & Messaging: Knowledge of Couchbase (NoSQL) and Kafka for event-driven architectures.
- Cloud Native: Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and Helm for container orchestration.
- Observability & Security: Experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Splunk, SonarQube, and Snyk.
- CI/CD: Practical experience with Azure DevOps pipelines.
