About the role
- Geospatial Consultant in Monitoring Division shaping geospatial monitoring solutions for high-profile UK projects. Delivering client engagement, technical expertise, and business development support.
Responsibilities
- Build, maintain and grow trusted client relationships through technical expertise and consistent delivery
- Represent Murphy Geospatial at client meetings, presentations, workshops and internal coordination sessions
- Identify new and cross-selling service opportunities and support development of a profitable sales pipeline
- Prepare, review and manage quotations, fee proposals and technical tender documentation, including clarification of scope
- Ensure accurate CRM management, consistent follow-up, and regular reporting on leads, pipeline status and targets
- Own client feedback processes and ensure insights are integrated into service and process improvements
- Support scope control, quality management, risk management and stakeholder engagement planning
- Review weekly operational and project status reports and contribute to lessons learned and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal commercial and proposal policies
- Offer expertise in spatial data management and appropriate service selection
Requirements
- Degree in Geomatics, Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field (desirable)
- Experience in surveying or a surveying background
- Knowledge of geospatial monitoring (advantageous)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and client-facing abilities
- Ability to work to deadlines and achieve sales or delivery targets
- Full, clean UK driving licence and willingness to travel across the UK for projects
- Right to work in the UK
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
